Must make more of an effort at Dorchester this year - 76 last year was miserable but, I guess with only a dozen visits, I couldn't expect much better. Determined to try and get over there more and started off with a look around today. 42 species, the most noteworthy being a couple of Egyptian geese and 2 female Goldeneye (surprisingly not very common at Dorchester in recent years. 380 Lapwing on the edge of the flooded field near Day's Lock - for some reason I just can't stop myself from counting them!
