Great to see a Mistle Thrush on the reserve - not a common bird here. That's my 47th species for the reserve this year - trouble is that is 71% of my year's target - could get slow from here on!

Only a Pheasant but very welcome nevertheless. Also on interest Water Rail, 3 Grey Wagtails and a single Stock Dove.

First few Daffodils now out and the first Coltsfoot of the year seen. Poor pic - wrong camera!

Birds much of a muchness with Water Rail, Grey Partridges and Stock Dove of note.

Nothing too exciting but still good to add Blackcap, a cracking male, and a small flock of Canada Geese, passing over, to the Ewelme Watercress Beds 2014 list. Water Rail putting on a show for the crowds - well three of us!

Added a Grey Partridge to my Ewelme 2014 list.

A few flowers seem to have braved the weather to put in an appearance.

Thankful for small mercies as I added a Pied Wagtail to my Watercress Beds year list. Too wet and too warm for any influx.
